 Coach
Caroline Karolinko, Head Coach
Coach Caroline begain swimming
with the Coralytes at the age of 10. She continued
swimming synchro through her senior year of
high school ranking in the top 10 in all levels
of competition. Caroline was also a varsity
swimmer on her high school swim team. Caroline
also swam during her first two years at the
University of Florida, for the Florida Gators
Synchro Team. The Gators recently placed 9th
at the Collegiate Nationals. Her certifications
include, Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard,
CPR/AED, Santa Clara Coaches Camp, Level 6F
Judge. Caroline is a graduate
from the University of Florida with a Bachelors
in Speech Therapy and is excited to come home
and coach year round! |

Coach
Jacki Barrett
Jacki joined the Palm Beach
Coralytes in 1996. She began as a parent but
soon became more interested in the sport than
just sewing headpieces and car pooling. Jacki
eager to learn the sport jumped in cold turkey
learning the sport first as a Master Swimmer
then Judge then Coach. She wanted to learn every aspect
of the sport and what made it easier was that
both her daughters were also swimming. Jacki
is a registered
nurse and graduate
from Helene Fuld College of Nursing in NYC and
also certified in case management. She brings to
Synchro a prior dance background but prefers the
scientific approach to the sport of synchronized
swimming explaining to the swimmers the whys and
how comes, defining muscle groups, rigorous conditioning
early in the season, breathing techniques and mental
focus. All of the above Jacki believes prepare
the swimmer for competition. “A
prepared swimmer is a confident swimmer.” Jacki’s
credentials are Certified Coach Level 1, CPR, WSI
Safety Trainer Instructor, Alumni of the Coaches
College in Colorado Springs and Alumni of Santa
Clara Swim Camp for 3years. She also is a Level
5F Judge and attends the Annual Aquatics
Convention yearly to stay abreast of this every
changing sport.
Jacki’s philosophy to the sport is to become
the best you are capable of becoming and. “Always
shoot for the moon and even if you miss you will
land among the stars.” |

Coach
Evelyn Dowling
Evelyn has a B.S. Degree (Physical Education major, English and History
minors) from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia, has a background of elementary school teaching, enjoys teaching Synchro to all
ages, including the Masters group. She has been an Assistant Coach
of the Palm Beach Coralytes since the club was organized in 1985, when she began learning this wonderful sport from Palm Beach Coralytes
founder/ Head Coach Cori Welbes.
Evelyn's certifications include
Water Safety Instructor, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, CPR and First Aid, Certified USSS Judge Level IV and Certified USSS Coach Level 2.
Evelyn has been competing every year at USSS Masters National Championships, bringing home gold, silver or bronze medals for her solos, duets & trios.
